MARION ADVENTIST CHURCH
MISSION STATEMENT
The Marion Seventh-day Adventist Church was established in Marion, Illinois in the year 1938 as part of a worldwide sisterhood of churches committed to proclaiming the Good News of the Everlasting Gospel that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. This message of a loving God and a saving Christ is uniquely applied to these last days in the three angels' message of Revelation 14:6-12.
In keeping with this message of full salvation through faith in Christ alone, the church seeks individual commitments to Christ-like attitudes. The church believes that the study, assimilation, and sharing of these attitudes will reflect itself in a disciplined lifestyle, which includes personal, family and corporate devotions; stewardship of time and resources and mutual accountability.
Believing that each member is a brother or sister in Christ entrusted with a spiritual gift to use in making disciples, varied opportunities are provided within the congregation and community for service.
The application of these God-given principles will result in fellowship, unity, personal and numerical growth in this group of believers of the family of God.
